Position: Accounts Executive
Location: Nugegoda and Surrounding Suburbs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Perform reconciliations of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.

 

Qualifications:

  • Part qualified from a recognized accounting body.
  • Audit experience will be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.

 

Preferred Candidates:

  • Residing in or around Nugegoda and surrounding suburbs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Measurement:
    • Conduct on-site measurements for various interior decor installations, including window treatments, furniture placement, wall decor, and other custom installations.
    • Ensure all measurements are accurate and detailed, adhering to company standards and client specifications.
    • Provide technical support and advice on product placement and installation feasibility during site visits.

  • Coordination with Showroom Sales Staff:
    • Work closely with showroom sales staff to understand client requirements and ensure that measurements and site conditions align with product offerings.
    • Communicate any site-specific challenges or adjustments required to the sales team for accurate order processing and customer satisfaction.
    • Assist in resolving any discrepancies between showroom proposals and site realities.

  • Quality Control:
    • Verify that all products delivered to the site match the measurements and specifications recorded during the initial visit.
    • Conduct final inspections post-installation to ensure that all products are installed correctly and meet client expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Site Supervisor, preferably in the home interior decor or related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of measurement techniques and tools used in interior design.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work closely with both clients and internal teams.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to identify potential issues before they become problems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in using measurement tools and software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Valid driver’s / riding license and willingness to travel to client sites as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with home interior decor products, such as window treatments, custom furniture, or wall decor will be an added advantage
